It's over...maybe

Well boys, I don't know about yall but I had a blast this season...at least up until Christmas. Amoung my memories and lessons learned will be:

1) Opener in Egypt...lesson learned 'don't go to Egypt opening morning'.

2) My first DC hunt...as good as billed

3) Rebar Hole...just sayin

4) Beaver Dam- 44 ducks and a canada goose on the ice.

5) First hunt on the mighty mississippi...rolling out the red carpet for lexie...fires, food and mud

6) Limits in Tennessee

7) Sinking my boat on the hatchie river/getting cussed for being from TN and driving on the wrong side of the river.

8) 3 days of snow goose hunting...exhausting, but I'd do it again.

Hope you all had a memorable one as well.

MO duck blind

Brad and i brushed the blind yesterday. Instead of emailing yall all the pictures, i figured i'd just post them here.
The blind faces east and is on the point of an island/sandbar.

Here's the blind as we found it

Alright guys...story time is here...

With just a few more weeks left before we get to get a little bit of relief from this addiction we call hunting, I thought it would be fun to hear a few stories told on each other from past seasons. My first story involves Joseph...sorry man, but somebody had to be first.

I believe that the hunting party included me, Torrent, and Joseph. I am not positive about whether or not it was Torrent or Spencer or both but they are not the good part of the story anyway. We had one of our many uneventful hunts at big lake last year and had headed to the metropolis of Blytheville, AR to pick up a little late morning grub. We relived the pain of a bad hunt as we ate and discussed ways in which we might improve our hunting. The third person in this story, we will just say it was Torrent, needed to hit the head before we hit the road and Joseph and I made our way out to the truck. We jump in J's truck and he cranks the engine. As we sit there I begin to smell something a little bit like eggs, bacon, and biscuits but really more like a fart. He then begins to make a face that says "I am putting a little effort into something," and immediatly following this face is a sound coming from his pants. The face quickly changes to one of "yep, that was me..." and twice as quickly to a 'oh know' face. He jumps out of the car and heads inside. As he walked off I thought he looked to be waddling a little bit. T makes his way back to the car and several minutes late Joseph comes out of the building walking fine. I take a look at his gate and immediatly assume, "ah, he is fine, no damage done." So he jumps in the truck and I say "thought you got a little bit more than you bargained for with that one!?!'. To which he responded "I did" and went on to tell us about how his underwear were in the trash can inside the perkins bathroom with a strange smell and a slight stain.

The reason I am thinking Torrent was the other guy, is at this point in the story I seem to remember him gagging in the back seat saying "That's enough!"

Who's next?
